Their coats range from wavy-curly and are low-no shed, perfect for families with allergies. Like with other breeds puppies can change their coloring quite dramatically as they age and their adult coat may be much different than their puppy coat. Other factors of coat change may be due to the weather, sometimes a coat may lighten in the warm summer heat and then become darker again in the cool winter weather. A Cavapoo's coat is soft to the touch and is generally more hypoallergenic due to the Poodle cross. By the time a puppy is six weeks old we can usually tell how the coat is likely to develop but we won't know for sure until their adult coat comes in around a year old. A Cavapoo's coat can develop and change up until the age of two.

Temperament:

Friendly, affectionate, gentle, playful, and loyal. They love to be with their family and are very adaptable to most households. They do great with children and other pets. They are the perfect travel buddy and family dog.

Exercise & Training:

Cavapoos do well with moderate exercise, only needing daily walks and playtime. They are suitable for both apartment living and country living. They have enough energy to keep up with kids (as long as it's not rough play) but are the perfect couch dog and love to relax on a lap. Cavapoos do well with training and learn quickly with positive reinforcement. Many Cavapoos love puppy training school and even agility classes. These are also great ways to socialize with other doggy friends
